Volleyball ends regular season with 2 wins over St. Clairsville; Varsity finishes 9-13, JVs end up 17-5

The Edison Wildcat Volleyball team was in action tonight for their final regular season game at St. Clairsville High School. 

The JV won by scores of 25-23, 19-25, 25-15. Hailey Teichman and Kendra Teichman led the team with 9 points apiece. Audrey Scott added 7 points and Morgan Martin and Rebecka Evans both added 4 points. The JV’s record on the year was 17-5.

The varsity won a hard fought battle tonight by scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-21. Madeline Whitehill had 10 points and 3 kills. Karissa Speedy had 9 points, 37 sets, 14 assists and 4 blocks. Savanna Ankrom had 8 points and 4 kills. Corinne Freeman had 12 blocks and 6 kills. Olivia Huff had 6 blocks and 4 kills. The Wildcats record is 9-13. 

The Wildcats will be back in action for their first round sectional game on Tuesday against Barnesville at Barnesville. The game starts at 6 PM.
