Members of the Ohio Valley Youth Initiative recently sold goodies to do good works during Oktoberfest at Edison High School. A bake sale was held at the event on Oct. 23 to benefit the Friendship Room in Steubenville with $148 being raised to help the homeless and needy.

The youth group, which was founded by EHS senior Morgan Lesnansky, has completed roadside litter cleanup and other projects throughout the community with more to be done in the future.
