First-graders Lucas Hileman, Caleb Alvis and Keith Miller took advantage of the offerings at the John Gregg Elementary’s Scholastic Book Fair. Students had a chance to browse among literature and other items in the school library the week of Oct. 1-5 and the activity was sponsored by the school PTO. Organizers said proceeds help students purchase books, add materials to the library and benefit end-of-year activities.
