Last-second shot falls short as Lady Wildcats fall to Indian Creek

The Edison Girls Basketball team fell to 1-2 on Monday night at Indian Creek. The Wildcats fought back from an early double-digit deficit to finally take the lead with 30 seconds remaining in the game. Creek quickly capitalized transitioning through the press to regain the lead with 10 seconds remaining. A last-second heave fell short finishing off a tremendous basketball game.

Your Wildcats were led by Gracie Fox with 18 points, Alayna Meadows with 10, Savanna Ankrom with 9, and Alysea Fiedorczyk with 8. I could not be more proud of our girls for the determination and heart that they showed in this game. It’s a great day to be a Wildcat.

That being said the JV basketball team captured its first win of the season with an impressive win over Indian Creek. It was a total team effort.
