| The swim team opened its season last night at Four Seasons in Moundsville, placing 2nd behind John Marshall. Team scores were John Marshall (94), Edison (93), and Weir (62). The Boy’s team placed 1st with 62 points. The Girl’s team placed 3rd with 31 points. Placing in the top 3 for Individual events were: 200 Free – Luke Linscott (3), 200 IM – Emily Stewart (2), 200 IM – Gage Cable (1) 50 Free – LUke Linscott (2), 100 Fly – Aiden Ferguson (1), 100 Free – Max McConnell (1) 500 Free – Mazzy Speedy (1), Catalina Holly (3),500 Free – Cage Cable (1) 100 Back – Nolan Buchanan (2). Aiden Ferguson (3),100 Breast – Emily Stewart (2) 100 Breast – Max McConnell (1) The Girls 200 Medley and 200 Free Relays both took 2nd (M.Stewart, Lucas, Kinney, and E.Stewart). The Girls 400 Free Relay took 3rd (Speedy, Frampton, Holly, and Larue) The Boys 200 Medley and 400 Free Relays both swam unopposed. (Cable, Buchanan, Ferguson, and McConnell) The Swim team will be at the Tuscarawas YMCA on Saturday morning at 10:00 in the Dover Invite. |
