The Edison High School Academic Team finished the Jefferson County Academic Competition Tournament on Feb. 26 at Eastern Gateway Community College, where members took first place after competing against six other teams. The EHS group was excited about its win after finishing second in the Jefferson County Academic League with a 6-1 record. Now they advance to the regionals in Copley on April 9. Advisor Derek Gulling praised the team saying they worked extremely hard to achieve their bid at the next level.
