The Lady Wildcats came out in full force against Harrison Central in last night’s Junior High dual meet with many athletes scoring to contribute to their first-place win.  The boys fought hard against Harrison making it a close meet and finished in 2nd.  Personal records were set and many brought home points making the meet competitive.

Scoring for the ladies:

Alison Kireta (2nd place in 100 and 200 meters; 1st place in the 400 meters); Kaylee Summers (3rd place in the 200 meters); Annie Board (3rd place in the 400 meters); Josie Lesnansky (1st place in both the 800 and 1600 meter); Paige Somerville (2nd place in both the 800 and 1600 meter); Rilee Givens (2nd place in the 100 hurdles and 3rd in the long jump); Kayla Koehnlein (3rd in the 100 hurdles and 200 hurdles); Leila Cable (1st in the 200 hurdles); Jenn Beadnell (tied for 2nd in the high jump); Sophia Henderson (1st in the shot put and 2nd in the discus); Miley Thomas (3rd in the shot put); Maiah Christy (1st in the discus); Lena Wagner (3rd in the discus); Kennedy Baker/Rilee Givens/Lacie Pelley/Kaylee Summers (1st in the 4×200 relay); Kennedy Baker/Leila Cable/Josie Lesnansky/Annie Board (1st in the 4×400 relay)

JJ Reynolds (3rd place in the 100 meters, 1st in the 200 meters); Hayden Russell (3rd in the 200 meters); Matt Evans (3rd in the 400 meters, 1st in the 110-meter hurdles, and 3rd in the 200-meter hurdles); Brock Koehnlein (2nd in the 800 meters and 1st in the 1600 meters); Liam Westfall (3rd in both the 800 and 1600 meters); Andrew Kirkman (1st in the 200-meter hurdles, 3rd in the high jump, and 1st in the long jump); JD Henderson (1st in the high jump); Connor Watson (3rd in the discus); Hayden Russell/Nathan Green/ JD Henderson/Connor Watson (1st in the 4×100 relay); Jordan Crew/Owen Krepps/Nathan Green/Liam Westfall (1st in the 4×400 relay)

The Wildcats will be back in action at home on Wednesday, April 6th against East Liverpool, Jr Crusaders, and Linsly.
