The Junior High Wildcats came to win in last night’s Indian League meet against the Madonna Junior Dons.  Both the boys and girls teams finished in 1st palace with many athletes scoring points and setting personal records to bring home the win.  The boys finished with a score of 84-28 and the girls with 85-28.

Scoring for the girls:

Sophia Henderson (2nd in the discus and shot put); Liz Booher (3rd in the discus); Maiah Christy (3rd in the shot put); Rilee Givens (1st in the long jump); Kaylee Summers (2nd in the long jump and 1st in the 200-meter dash); Kayla Koehnlein (3rd in the long jump and 200-meter hurdles); Jenn Beadnell (1st in the high jump); Leila Cable (1st in the 200-meter hurdles and 3rd in the 400-meter dash); Alison Kireta (1st in the 100-meter hurdles and 400-meter dash); Josie Lesnansky (1st in the 1600 and 800 meters); Paige Somerville (2nd in the 1600 meter); Annie Board (3rd in the 800 meters and 2nd in the 400-meter dash); Lacie Pelley (2nd in the 200-meter dash and 1st in the 100 meters); Kennedy Baker (3rd in the 200-meter dash): Gillian Libaton/Layla White/Olivia Brousseau/Jenn Beadnell (1st in the 4×100 meter relay); Kennedy Baker/Rilee Givens/Lacie Pelley/Kaylee Summers (1st in the 4×200 meter relay): Alison Kireta/Leila Cable/Paige Somerville/Annie Board (1st in the 4×400 meter relay).

The Wildcats will be back at home on Wednesday, April 13th against Toronto, Oak Glen, East Liverpool, and Linsly. We hope to see you there supporting our athletes.   Field events begin at 4:30 and running starts at 5:30 pm.
