The Edison High School FFA will be cooking up some delights in honor of military heroes during its fifth annual Veteran’s Day Breakfast on Nov. 12.
The event is set for 8-11 a.m. and FFA members will serve up a full meal of eggs, sausage, pancakes and home fries in the high school cafeteria. Advisor Chuck Cline said about 50-100 people have attended in the past and it is open to veterans and their families. Any donations will be contributed to local veteran’s organizations.
Meanwhile, the FFA is holding its annual fruit sale until Nov. 2 with a wide variety of citrus fruits and other treats available. Anyone interested may contact any FFA member.
