The Edison 8th grade boys basketball team lost 39-16 to Weir Thursday evening. The Jr. Cats were led in scoring by Cash Meadows, Kayden Russell, and Jaxon Wiley who each had 4. Gabe Call and Gage Applegarth put up 2 apiece. The 8th-grade returns Wednesday night at home against Madonna. It will be an 8th-only game, where the girls’ Jr. High basketball team will start the evening at 5:30.

The 7th-grade basketball team lost to Weir 30-15. They were led in scoring by Xander Haught with 5, followed by Dylan Long and Kenny Farnsworth with 3 each. Santino Auteri and Javen Fuller closed out with 2 apiece. The 7th-grade won’t return until next Thursday, a home game against Indian Creek, beginning at 5:30.
