The Wildcats Swim Team rode some waves of excitement on Friday evening at Steubenville for Senior Night. Seniors from Indian Creek, Martins Ferry, Catholic Central and Big Red were recognized along with Edison’s Aiden Ferguson, Chloe LaRue and Emily Stewart. Individual event placing over the 5 team competition included 200 Medley (Girls: 2nd Larkins, Holly, Stewart and Lucas 8th Frampton, Larue, Speedy and Cline Boys: 3rd Buchanan, Cable, Ferguson and Linscott) 200 Freestyle (Girls: 6th Lucas, 6th Pudder), 200 IM (Boys:4th Linscott), 50 Freestyle (Girls: 6th Stewart, 9th Lucas, Boys 8th Bregenzer), 100 Fly (4th Ferguson), 100 Free (Girls:6th Frampton, 10th Speedy Boys: 6th Larkins), 500 Free (Girls: 2nd Larkins, 3rd Stewart, 6th Holly, Boys: 1st Buchanan, 2nd Ferguson), 200 Free Relay (Girls: 5th Stewart, Speedy, Lucas and Holly, Boys: 5th Buchanan, Linscott, Pudder, Cable) 100 Back (Girls: 8th Holly, Boys: 2nd Cable, 8th Pudder, 9th Linscott) 100  Breast (Girls 8th Larkins, 10th Larue, Boys: 6th Buchanan) 400 Free Relay (Boys: 3rd Bregenzer, Larkins, Pudder and Ferguson)

Dual meet scores for the evening were Girls: (Edison 109, Catholic Central 55), Indian Creek 151, Edison 71), Martins Ferry 119, Edison 77) and (Big Red 169, Edison 66) Boys: (Edison 90, Martins Ferry 88), (Indian Creek, 160, Edison 70), (Catholic Central 107, Edison 94) and (Edison 112, Big Red 52)

The Wildcats then moved to compete in Buckeye 8 Championship competition Saturday morning at Brooke.
