Edison had a bad start to the Ovac championship game with Oak Glen. Down 2-0, the Wildcats fought back to tie the game 2-2 after the top half of the 6th inning.
Oak Glen responded with 3 runs in the bottom of the inning to go on and claim the title.
Katie Fluharty took the loss in the circle striking out 3 and walking 4 while giving up 6 hits.
Pressly Meadows had a big day at the plate with a single, double, and a game-tying solo home run in the 6th.
Audrey Scott had an RBI double in the 4th inning to put Edison within one.
Too many miscues and a few seeing-eye hits were too much to overcome for the Wildcats.
Edison drops to 14-9 on the season and will return to action next Wednesday.
