The Edison Cross Country teams ran Saturday at the Martins Ferry Invitational against upwards of 15 schools from the West Virginia and Ohio areas. 

The Varsity Girls team finished 3rd, missing 2nd by one point, behind Martins Ferry and Indian Creek. Earning medals were Josie Lesnansky (2nd) and Layla White (12th).  

The Varsity boys team finished 4th behind Martins Ferry, Linsly, Tyler Consolidated, and Wheeling Central Catholic.  Gage Cable medaled, finishing in 9th.

Both Junior High teams finished 6th overall behind Lydia Krepps (4th place) and Nate Kline (9th).

Runners will be back in action Wednesday at Harrison Central and Saturday at E. Palestine Inviational.
