Junior High Boys 2nd, Girls 3rd in BMC Track & Field Home Meet

The Junior High Girls and Boys Track & Field Teams competed in their final home meet of the season on a cool night at the Edison Unified Sports Complex.  The Boys Team finished 2nd Place in a Buckeye Mountaineer Conference Tri Meet between Weirton, Indian Creek, and Edison, while the Girls Team finished 3rd.

Junior High Boys Track Team came up short against Weirton, but defeated rival Indian Creek.

Edison Wildcats 21, Weir Middle Red Riders 70, Indian Creek Redskins 58


Boys overall scores:

Edison Wildcats 47, Indian Creek Redskins 35, Weir Middle Red Riders 66

Thanks to our school board and administration, athletic administration, track officials assocation, family concession volunteers, student volunteers, and all student-athlete families for their dedication and support that was behind all of our success at home this season.  The Wildcats conclude their season and push towards 7th and 8th Grade State qualification with a championship slate including the BMC and OVAC JH Championships, along with a BMC Quad at Beaver Local.
