Board Wins OVAC Title, Track team with strong showing

Freshman Annie Board is an OVAC champion winning the 3200. She also finished 3rd in the 1600. Annie was also a member of the 4 x 800 team along with Leila Cable, Kennedy Baker, and Alison Kireta who finished 2nd. 

Fellow freshman Lacie Pelley finished 2nd in the High Jump and the 4 X 400 team of Kaylee Summers, Leila Cable, Alison Kireta, and Hailey Teichman finished 4th.

The Boys had a strong outing finishing 3rd in Class AAAA. 

Matt Evans finished 2nd in the 300 Hurdles, 3rd in the 110 Hurdles, and was on the shuttle hurdle relay that finished 4th along with Andrew Kirkmanm, Nathan Greene, and Gabe Call.

Brock Koehnlein came home with three 3rd-place finishes. He was 3rd in the 1600 and the 3200 and on the 4 x 800 team along with, Deacon Rawson, Blaine Hoobler and Jaxson Wiley. 

Andrew Kirkman finished 3rd in the long jump and was on the 4 x 200 team that finished 4th along with Trevor Eisnaugle, Deacon Rawson, and Zak VanGosen.

Nathan Greene was 3rd in the 300 Hurdles and Joey Simpson Finished 4th in the Shot Put.

The 4 x 400 finished 2nd and it was made up of Zak VanGosen, Trevor Eisnaugle, Matt Evans, and Deacon Rawson.

Come out Tuesday and support the girls’ team as they battle for Runner up in the Indian League and the Boys go for the Championship.
