Running against 15 area schools in the Ohio Valley Cross Country League, the Varsity Girls’ Cross Country team finished first, behind Josie Lesnanksy’s season PR second-place finish. Other Varsity runners earning top-25 hardware – as well career personal best times, include Annie Board, Hallie Westbrook, Paige Somerville, Maya Filburn, and Leila Cable.  Kennedy Baker and Bella Evans also ran career best times.  The pack only continues to grow stronger!

The Varsity Boys Cross Country team finished 6th out of 15 schools.  Brock Koehnlein ran a career personal record and finished 8th overall.  In fact, the entire varsity boy’s team ran career best times today: Nate Green, Blaine Hoobler, Liam Westfall, Nate Kline, Ronnie White, and senior Luke Linscott.

Emily Kireta (10th), Teagan Basinger (24th), Tallyn Larkins (28th), and Learynn Hanson (31st) finished the season in the Junior High Girls Race.  This squad of runners saw drops in time throughout the year.

For the Junior High Boys, both brought home hardware: Jayden Sciance (10th) and Noah Lucas (20th).

Congratulations to all and continue to support the Cross Country runners.  The Varsity will be in Cambridge next weekend at the DII District Meet.
