Welcome to Early Childhood Preschool
We are honored to be a part of your child’s life long journey of learning. The results of our students participating in our program has shown that our students have increased their skills significantly and are ready to attend Kindergarten. Our Early Learning Program offers an engaging curriculum which includes: Smartboards and IPads, Literacy Enriched Environment, Family Literacy Program, researched based reading and math program, Differentiated Instruction, Related Arts Classes (art, computer, music, & P.E.), DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills Program), and Educational Field Trips. The Early Childhood teachers and Aides continue to participate in professional development to enhance their knowledge of programs and increase their skills, which benefit our students.
Throughout the year many questions arise about the rules and procedures in our program. We have developed a handbook of general information to help answer those questions and to help parents and students who are new to Edison become acquainted with our preschool. You will receive a handbook at Orientation and it will be posted on our website.
I am confident that your child will experience a rewarding year and together we will make your child’s experience a wonderful experience at Edison Local School District.
