Edison Local serves eleven communities across 208 square miles in the northern half of Jefferson County — Irondale, Stratton, Empire, Richmond, Amsterdam, Knoxville, Pleasant Hill, East Springfield, Wolf Run, Hammondsville, and Bergholz. Our three school buildings serve students from preschool through grade 12.

Our programs reflect the full range of pathways our students pursue after graduation. Edison High School offers 28 College Credit Plus courses, including the opportunity to earn an Associate’s Degree before graduation, along with career-technical pathways in healthcare, engineering, agriculture and trades, IT, and public services. Our 5-Star Rated Preschool program and nationally Distinguished Project Lead the Way STEM curriculum serve students from their very first days of school through senior year.
