Join the Parent Partnership Team!

The Edison Local Parent Partnership Team is a group of parents, guardians, and community members volunteering to help make our school the best it can be for our kids. Parent membership offers a unique opportunity for district teachers and administrators to hear insights, perceptions, and concerns parents have as they shape the school’s vision for learning. We have been meeting the past 6 years and are looking for others that would be interested in joining our team. We meet a few times during the school year to:

  • Give constructive feedback regarding important school decisions
  • Work as a team to analyze ways we can positively impact our community, district, and schools
  • Brainstorm ways to improve our children’s literacy
  • Participate in school efforts to encourage and maintain family involvement directly related to student learning and success
  • Support and assist the school in developing and maintaining active family-school-community partnerships
